A catch up with some of my London-based school chums was long overdue.
So I thought it best to risk ruining what would have been a nice, quiet evening for three people by turning it into some impromptu birthday drinks... For me.

My first recommendation would be to make plans with a one Megan Lloyd, like I did yesterday. Then personally suggest and execute a string of alternative options based along London's least reliable tube line. Then realise the expedition needs a complete do-over and try again the next day. Creepy Instant nachos optional.

This morning I packed the parents off in a hire car with James on their way to Bristol. It is a fucking fantastic day for it. Warm, sunny, calm.
