Just to demonstrate that I have been using all my abundant time effectively, I have a question I would like you to consider.
You see, I've been catching up on some documentary viewing (shark related, of course) and spending a lot of time messing about on the ol' laptop.

Back in New Zealand, if there was a 120 year old pub in the centre of a grand Victorian experiment in urban housing that would go on to influence how suburbs are built around the world, still serving booze and decent food... Well, it would be a national landmark.

I am on the 6:30am train to London on Saturday and I haven't even started packing.
I'm in complete denial!
And because it's my last day at the beeb I have been asked to have a couple of drinks after work. I can only assume this means that I will be packing drunk (again!).

I'm down to my last few days at the dear old beeb and also my last few days in Bristol.
Talk has turned to plans for what I will need in London, how we manage the alternate weekends, etc. You see, it all makes perfect sense in theory (like communism) but life keeps getting in the way.

Squirrels
Seems like an odd thing to start on but why the fuck not?
There are far fewer squirrels in Bristol -even taking into account that you see less of them in winter than you do in autumn.
