I work as Digital Sales Manager for Discovery Communications Europe in London (and I’m currently taking suggestions for how best to celebrate shark week). I also write occasionally.

My weblog began over at Invading Europe 1.0 and then Invading Europe 2.0 because the biggest thing in his life at the time was the move from New Zealand to the UK. The name seems to have stuck among my friends so I’m transferring it along with the blog to this brand new domain. Plus, I love the conceit of it.

Other than that there’s posterous for things in between tweeting and posting.

I’ve worked in magazines, newspapers, music, events and online over the years both in the UK and back in Australia and New Zealand. In fact my first job out of college was setting up Sydney’s first Virgin Megastore -something that seems spectacularly unimpressive in the current climate. I’m not entirely sure why I mentioned it.

Like most writers I have won a couple of shitty awards. The weirdest was for my zombie radio play back in Auckland.
