I just watched something on BBC iPlayer about Sylvia Plath’s British nature poetry and it gave me that weird mix of jew-guilt and panic that I am not writing enough. Well, I’m sick, busy and poor. You try it, lady! We can’t all have the perfect life that you had, can we??

So instead of writing something much better than that bitch, Sylvia Plath, I will instead link to other people’s awesomeness.
- Here’s some really freaky Alice in Wonderland shit. It has sound and is suitable for work but it possibly carries a curse on whoever watches it a la that Naomi Watts movie; King Kong.
- In a similar vein but much happier and more enjoyable… In fact, it’s nothing alike, this is sand.
- Here’s the corporate Christmas gift everyone is looking for in early May: an awesome set of novelty cards that are sadly too big for me to use in my day to day life.
- Oh! And speaking of gifts… This has Cameron, Owen and possibly Ryan sorted for every birthday ever. Soap for geeks. I love it so, so much.
- Funny Star Wars Weekend posters. I found out about the posters before I found out about the weekend. There’s a lot of work trips to the states planned so… I’m just saying…. Yeah, fuck it. I am totally up for one of these.
- Uncomfortable plot summaries. This had me weeping like Celine Dion at my desk. Read. Print. Keep. Here’s an example: Batman – wealthy man assaults the mentally ill.
- More nerdy stuff. I’m wondering if I should say this is in honour of the new Star Trek movie or just because I am a nerd. But here’s an article on an apparently good fan film set in Jackson’s Middle Earth.
- Here’s a home made Star Trek clock for the nerd who has nothing. I would have bought this if James and I lived together/alone (however I say that). Pretty sure I had most of those micro-machines at one stage in my late childhood.
Moving from ‘nerd’ to ‘offensive’ for the final three we have
- How to brew beer in a coffee machine. Seriously.
- And for those of you who aren’t precious about your imaginary friends here is a game where you can play Jebus, Mohammed, etc in a fight to the death with each other. It’s quite good.
- Darth Vader’s helmet reimagined by contemporary artists. This would have been in the ‘nerd’ section were it not for the addition of artists which apparently makes it cool. Or something. Just click on the damn link.
That’s all ladies. I would have included a link to a story about that man who had a python bite him on the penis when he sat on the toilet but some of your google skills aren’t up to scratch so you can find it for yourselves. Seriously. I’m not making it up.
